DESCRIPTION:September 2\, 2020 (Wednesday) \nThe observance of Buddha’s Joyful Day on the full moon day of the seventh lunar month is based on the story of Maudgalyayana\, a disciple of the Buddha. Buddha’s Joyful Day is observed by making offerings of necessities to monastics\, reciting sūtras and performing acts of generosity.
