Please note that accommodations remain closed to the public. \n\nDecember 2 – 4\, Friday – Sunday | Drolma Yuldok\, a practice based on the 21 Taras \nThis three-day practice based on the 21 Taras\, known as Drolma Yuldok\, is chanted to remove obstacles and bring about auspicious conditions.  The central content of the chanting is the 21 Praises of Tara repeated with various offerings and prayers. \nChanting Schedule:\nFriday & Saturday | 9:00 am & 2:00 pm \nSunday | 9:00 am \n  \nDecember 4\, Sunday (following Drolma Yuldok chanting) | Sür\, Evening Fire Offering Ceremony\nSür (an evening fire offering ceremony) is an offering to the four guests: the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas\, the Protector deities\, sentient beings\, and those with whom we have karmic debts. It averts obstacles and sickness and is dedicated to those who are dying\, to beings in the Bardo\, and to beings with whom we have karmic debts. \n  \nTo participate in these events via Zoom please click here. \n  \nFor those who wish to sponsor the chanting\, donations can be made toward meals\, fire offering ceremonies\, or the tea served during the chanting. General contributions toward these special practices are also welcome. To join us via Zoom please click here. \n  \nLed by Lamas Depa and Lhadrun\, we will be exploring in depth Awakening the Sleeping Buddha written by the Twelfth Tai Situpa\, Pema Donyo Nyinche. In this book\, HE Tai Situ Rinpoche lucidly presents and explains very basic and important principles such as Buddha Nature\, Bodhichitta\, Reincarnation\, Karma and Emptiness. In this class\, which includes study\, discussion and meditation\, we will investigate these principles deeply\, and also draw from the works of other Buddhist masters for further elucidation. \n  \nGuru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa\, The Twelth Tai Situpa\, is a great meditation master\, scholar\, artist\, and is the abbot of Sherab Ling Monastery in northern India\, as well as the head of our own monastery\, Palpung Thupten Choling. \n  \nWe are very much looking forward to this new class and students of all levels are welcome to join any Tuesday. There are no prerequisites and no attendance requirement.
