DESCRIPTION:Lama Lekshe Dorje will be leading a series of teachings on the Mahamudra Monlam.  This prayer\, composed by the Third Karmapa Rangjung Dorje\, offers a concise teaching on the essential instructions of ground\, path\, and fruition Mahamudra\, the ultimate realization of one’s mind. To follow along in the text\, please download Kalu Rinpoche’s Practice of Aspiration Prayers (Monlam Choga) and scroll to pages 100 – 110. (If you are coming to the monastery\, please bring these pages with you.) \nLama Lekshe Dorje\, a resident of PTC\, has completed two cycles of the three-year retreat. \nThese teaching sessions are being offered in person and on Zoom. Sherab Nyingpo is an obstacle-averting practice that dispels unfavorable circumstances and promotes good conditions. The Heart Sutra is recited repeatedly as a means to purify obstacles created by the four maras (mental afflictions\, attachment to happiness\, clinging to the five skandhas\, death). It averts obstacles and sickness and is dedicated to those who are dying\, to beings in the Bardo\, and to beings with whom we have karmic debts. \n  \nThis in-person event is also being offered on Zoom.
