SUMMARY:Settling the Mind - the Practice of Calm Abiding
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a guided meditation session led by Lama Depa.   The session is being held in the main shrine room of the Maitreya Center and will include meditation instructions\, both sitting and walking meditation\, and time for questions about the practice. \nLama Depa. a resident of PTC\, has completed two cycles of the three-year retreat. \n  \nThis session is being offered in person and on Zoom. If you would like to participate remotely\, please use our online event registration form. \n  \nPlease do not visit the monastery if you feel unwell and/or have a fever. \nWe urge all program participants to take precautions against the ongoing risk of COVID through protection such as having up-to-date vaccinations\, wearing a good-quality mask indoors\, washing hands and maintaining physical distance. \nMasks and hand sanitizer will be available at all entryways. \nMany thanks to all of you for your support in keeping this event as safe as possible! \n  \n
