SUMMARY:Teachings on the Mahamudra Monlam
DESCRIPTION:Lama Lekshe Dorje will be leading a series of teachings on the Mahamudra Monlam.  This prayer\, composed by the Third Karmapa Rangjung Dorje\, offers a concise teaching on the essential instructions of ground\, path\, and fruition Mahamudra\, the ultimate realization of one’s mind. To follow along in the text\, please download Kalu Rinpoche’s Practice of Aspiration Prayers (Monlam Choga) and scroll to pages 100 – 110. (If you are coming to the monastery\, please bring these pages with you.) \nLama Lekshe Dorje\, a resident of PTC\, has completed two cycles of the three-year retreat. \nThese teaching sessions are being offered in person and on Zoom. If you would like to participate remotely\, please use our online event registration form. \nThe teachings are free–donations are welcome. \n  \nPlease do not visit the monastery if you feel unwell and/or have a fever. \nWe urge all program participants to take precautions against the ongoing risk of COVID through protection such as having up-to-date vaccinations\, wearing a good-quality mask indoors\, washing hands and maintaining physical distance. \nMasks and hand sanitizer will be available at all entryways. \nMany thanks to all of you for your support in keeping this event as safe as possible! \n
