DESCRIPTION:Teaching Schedule: \nJune 11 (Tuesday) 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm  |  Transforming Adversity into Awakening\nWhen things go wrong in our lives\, from minor annoyances to full-blown tragedies\, our habitual patterns tend to kick in automatically and trigger emotional reactivity\, digging us deeper into the self-perpetuating cycle of samsara. Drawing from the classic text The Great Path of Awakening by Jamgon Kongtrul\, based on the seven points of mind training\, Ringu Tulku Rinpoche will show us how we might instead recognize adversity as an opportunity to awaken\, and bring whatever happens to us onto the path of practice. \nJune 12 (Wednesday) 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm &  7:00 pm – 8:30 pm | The Four Seals\nRinpoche will discuss the four basic principles that define Buddhism: \n\nAll compounded things are impermanent.\nAll contaminated things are suffering.\nAll phenomena are empty and selfless.\nNirvana is true peace.\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nFee for Teaching Sessions (total of 3 sessions). Cost of accommodations not included.  \nIn-Person and Zoom/Live Stream:\nMembers $30/session ($90 for all 3 sessions)\nNon-Members $35/session ($105 for all 3 sessions) \nFor those registering to participate via Zoom\, a link unique to these teachings will be sent.
