In light of concerns about the coronavirus outbreak, to protect the well-being and safety of everyone, Palpung Thubten Chöling Monastery remains closed to the public.

Join us online as we celebrate the 68th birthday of Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa.

9:30 am | Prayers for long life and auspicious conditions. These will include a special morning purification fire ceremony (Gelek Trinpung), the prayer to the Sixteen Arhats and the practice of White Tara. An offering of a Ku Sung Tuk ceremony (the symbols of enlightened body, speech and mind) will be inserted within the chanting.

Although the monastery is closed to the public, there are many ways to share in the merit of these activities through sponsoring the fire offering ceremony and the tea served during the chanting. Be sure to include a prayer with your donation which will be read aloud to the assembly.
