Teaching Schedule:
June 11 (Tuesday) 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm | Transforming Adversity into Awakening
When things go wrong in our lives, from minor annoyances to full-blown tragedies, our habitual patterns tend to kick in automatically and trigger emotional reactivity, digging us deeper into the self-perpetuating cycle of samsara. Drawing from the classic text The Great Path of Awakening by Jamgon Kongtrul, based on the seven points of mind training, Ringu Tulku Rinpoche will show us how we might instead recognize adversity as an opportunity to awaken, and bring whatever happens to us onto the path of practice.
June 12 (Wednesday) 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm & 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm | The Four Seals
Rinpoche will discuss the four basic principles that define Buddhism:
Fee for Teaching Sessions (total of 3 sessions). Cost of accommodations not included.
