Offering E-lamps

E-lamps are beautiful rechargeable candles which are always ablaze in our Maitreya shrine room. You can sponsor an e-lamp for anyone in need of continuous blessing for a year.

Each e-lamp may be dedicated to one name for one year for $100. The lamp, along with the name of the recipient, is placed near the White Tara statue in the Maitreya Shrine Room for long life and good health, or near the Guru Rinpoche statue for the deceased to be born in the pure realm of Dewachen. Names of new recipients are announced to the assembly when butterlamp prayers are read, usually on Saturday morning.

Options for online payment are on the donation form on this page. Please provide the recipient’s name in the prayer request box, and indicate whether they are living or deceased. To pay by check, see below.
