Please join Lama Tsering and the sangha of Palpung Thubten Chöling in celebrating the Opening of the Tenth Three-Year Retreat.

The opportunity to attend the opening of a three-year retreat is considered highly auspicious. The karmic connection made to the Dharma and to the Three Year Retreat reaps mountains of merit and creates the conditions for participation in a retreat in this or future lifetimes.

Please arrive by 9:00 am to enjoy the following:

• Chanting of Offerings and Aspirations
• Offering of Auspicious Symbols by the Retreatants to the throne of Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa
• Traditional Offering of Sweet Rice and Tea
• Offering of Traditional White Scarves by Guests to Lama Tsering, Lama Norgyal and the Retreatants (Packets of white scarves (katas) will be available at our bookstore.)

Lunch in honor of Retreatants, their Guests and Families

There is no charge for attending the ceremony or the lunch.  Please come as our guest, but you must register in advance by filling out this form.

Overnight accommodations may be coming soon. A separate post will be made if/when they become available. 

This is a very auspicious event to sponsor. For those who wish to sponsor the Opening of the 10th Three Year Retreat, donations are welcome. Be sure to include a prayer with your donation which will be read aloud to the assembly.
