Join us online to celebrate Losar, Tibetan and Chinese New Year, the year of the Water Tiger. The resident sangha of PTC will celebrate Losar, in a variety of chanting events to dispel obstacles and bring about auspicious conditions.
You are welcome to join us for all or part of our morning services, called "tsokpa", to sit in meditation. Chanting is in Tibetan, so for those interested in participating in the chanting, transliterated copies of the text are available for use in the shrine room. Morning Tsokpa includes Tara and Medicine Buddha.

Led by Lamas Depa and Lhadrun, we will be exploring in depth Awakening the Sleeping Buddha written by the Twelfth Tai Situpa, Pema Donyo Nyinche. In this book, HE Tai Situ Rinpoche lucidly presents and explains very basic and important principles such as Buddha Nature, Bodhichitta, Reincarnation, Karma and Emptiness.
