Lama Norgyal will be teaching on and leading the sangha in the chanting of Calling the Lama from Afar. Written by the great master Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye, this text is a powerful supplication to invoke the blessings of the lama and the great masters of all four Tibetan Buddhist lineages.
Our service for Chinese New Year 2022 will include: lighting of 500 Butterlamps, prayers for long life and auspicious conditions for the new year. Also,practices of Dzambala, Medicine Buddha, Green Tara and a Fire Offering (Sang). Lama Tsering will bless the names of all donors.

Join us online as we celebrate the 68th birthday of Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. This session is being offered remotely on Zoom.
In honor of Chötrul Duchen, the full moon of the Month of the Buddha's Miracles when, for fifteen days, the Buddha displayed miracles, we will be offering 1,000 butterlamps (as part of our weekly Tong Chö) and chanting the Milarepa tsok and Milarepa Doha. These practices and prayers are dedicated to world peace, especially in Ukraine, and to an end to all sickness.
Palpung Thubten Chöling will be making prayers and offerings for our parents, ancestors, and the deceased, performing 2 days of practice including the offering of 1000 butterlamps, a special recitation of the Amitabha sadhana with tsok offerings, a fire puja for the deceased, and aspiration prayers for the well being of us and all other beings, especially those to whom we dedicate the practice by name, both living and deceased.

The resident sangha of PTC will be commemorating the anniversary of our root lama Dorje Chang Kalu Rinpoche's parinirvana.
And to honor all mothers (past, present, and future!) we will be chanting the short practice of Green Tara.
