The monastery is now open. We recommend that visitors wear masks indoors. Masks and hand sanitizer are available at all entryways. Please note that accommodations remain closed to the public, except when noted otherwise for special programs .
Today’s chanting will take place in the upstairs shrineroom in the older building and will not be Zoomed.
Please join us in the chanting of the Monlam Choga, a practice of offering and aspiration prayers compiled by Dorje Chang Kalu Rinpoche. This is followed by the short liturgy of Shitro (Peaceful and Wrathful Deities), a profound practice from the cycle of teachings and meditations of the Tibetan Book of the Dead. We dedicate this practice to the deceased in order to purify negativities, avert obstacles in the bardo, and establish a connection with the deities that will ripen in future lives.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night classes will continue on Zoom only. To join us via Zoom please click here.
Please do not visit the monastery if you feel unwell and/or have a fever.
All visitors are required to wear a mask indoors. Children 12 years old and younger must be supervised. No pets please.
