Three-Day Celebration of the 70th Birthday of Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa

Join us for a three-day celebration of the 70th birthday of Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa.

The PTC sangha will be chanting a special longevity practice, Tsedrup Sangdu, dedicated to the long life and good health of our precious Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, for his Dharma activity and removal of all obstacles. This sadhana is a terma (hidden teaching) revealed by the great Tertön (treasure revealer) Ratna Lingpa.
The schedule is as follows:
February 24 (Friday)

9:30 am | Commencement of Birthday Celebration
Prayers for long life and auspicious conditions, including the prayer to the Sixteen Arhats. An offering of a Ku Sung Tuk ceremony (the symbols of enlightened body, speech and mind) will follow the chanting. The assembly can offer katas following the Ku Sung Tuk.
Completion of Amitayus (Tsedrup Sangdu) long life practice

The Amitayus texts will be Tibetan language only. Guests are encouraged to recite the Amitayus mantra for His Holiness Tai Situpa’s long life.

There are many ways to share in the merit of these activities through sponsoring lunch, feast ceremony (Tsok), tea served during the chanting, and making offerings to the Sangha. Be sure to include a prayer with your donation which will be read aloud to the assembly.

長壽佛法本只有藏文。鼓勵大家持誦長壽佛咒語，以祈求法王大司徒長壽。
